Mrs. Nehls obtained her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana State University in 1995, and a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern Illinois University. Mrs. Nehls is a proud graduate of Hutsonville High School, Class of 1989.
Mrs. Nehls has her Educator's License for the
state of Illinois, and is also licensed as a speech-language pathologist through the Illinois Department of
Professional Regulation. She holds the Certificate of
Clinical Competence through the American
Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
She is a member of ASHA, the Illinois Speech-Language Hearing association (ISHA), and the South Eastern Illinois Speech-Language Hearing Association (SEISHA).
Mrs. Nehls is also a member of the Hutsonville
Mrs. Nehls worked as the speech-language pathologist for both Hutsonville and Palestine from 1996-2000. She began working full time for Hutsonville in the fall of 2000 at the speech-language pathologist and the district's special education coordinator.
