CASH: Concerns About Student Health -- With the increase of vaping running rampant across our great nation and the number of issues we are beginning to see in our local schools, Hutsonville CUSD #1, in conjunction with our communities, are putting together an informative and educational seminar. On Tue, Apr 30, at 6:30 PM in the HHS gym, Dr. John Richards (HHS graduate) will lead a seminar aimed to increase public awareness on the dangers of vaping. Our students, along with their families, are encouraged to attend. Dr. Richards' presentation will last about 20 minutes followed by questions and answers. Also, HHS Principal Travis Titsworth will address the audience about school and athletic expectations in regards to this problem and a short video will show some of the hazards associated with vaping. In conclusion, we are contacting an RN to share some of her experiences that night, also. Mrs. Kraemer will close the seminar around 8 PM.

The health and safety of our students is paramount. We want to work within our communities to eradicate these health hazards and educate our students and communities on these hazards. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending this important public forum on vaping awareness on Tue, Apr 30 at 6:30 PM in the HHS gym. We want to "pack the place" as we share our concerns. Principal Guy Rumler will emcee the evening. We promise a great evening that you do not want to miss.
