Dear Tiger Community,
I hope this letter finds you enjoying your summer months. I write to you today as the newly appointed Superintendent of Hutsonville CUSD 1. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve in this role, especially as someone who has deep roots in this community. Having grown up here and attended the very schools that our students do today, I am humbled to have the opportunity to give back to a place that has given me so much.
Having grown up right here in Hutsonville, I know firsthand about the dreams, aspirations, and incredible potential that exist within every student. I firmly believe that every young mind holds immense power, waiting to be unlocked through education, support, and encouragement. My commitment as your new Superintendent is to empower our students, instill in them the belief in them, and help them chase their dreams.
Building strong relationships and fostering a sense of trust is important to me. I understand the benefit of a nurturing and inclusive environment, where our students feel valued and supported. Equally crucial is the rapport between students and staff, which plays a pivotal role in their educational journey. I am dedicated to cultivating an atmosphere of respect, collaboration, and open communication, where students and staff alike feel heard, understood, and motivated.
To facilitate open dialogue within our community, I am thrilled to share with you an exciting program called "Coffee with the Superintendent" that I'm introducing to encourage open dialogue within our community. This program offers a relaxed setting where community members and parents can meet with me on a regular basis. These gatherings will provide a great opportunity to discuss ideas, concerns, and aspirations regarding our schools and community. I strongly believe that when we engage in transparent and open communication, we can collaborate and create an environment that fosters the growth and success of our students. Lastly, I want to assure you that I understand the responsibility that comes with entrusting your children to our care. I am deeply committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching educational experience for every student. Together with our dedicated educators and staff, we will strive to create an environment where your children can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
