Nathan Allcorn's food delivery route, or Candi's bus route, will be running a little late today and from this point on. We had to combine some routes, thank-you for your understanding!

Clarification: The flexibility of the Federal Grant allows us to provide meals for ALL students, with no fee charged to the student. This is new territory for us so I’m sure there will be some issues to work through on delivery. Here are some things we need you to do: 1.) If you would prefer to opt out of the program please call or email the following: a. 618-563-4913 sue.gower@hutsonvilletigers.net b. 618-563-4812 jennifer.turner@hutsonvilletigers.net 2.) If your student will be at daycare or another household please call or email the above so we can make the delivery to your student. 3.) If you will not need a meal on a certain day please call or email the above. We will also be posting a google form to help streamline this process for those who have access. 4.) The bus drivers will leave the school at 10:00 a.m. and run their routes as if we were dismissing school, after the first few days this will give you an idea of time for pickup. 5.) Please meet the bus as normal. For example, at the end of the lane, at a pickup point in town, etc.

Good Evening Hutsonville Tiger Families: As stated in the last communication, Hutsonville CUSD #1, in conjunction with our Food Service Director, Crawford County Health Department, and Illinois State Board of Education have been working on a plan to ensure all of our students receive breakfast and lunch during this closure. The federal government has granted a waiver for some of the rules for school food service which will allow us to serve all our students with far greater flexibility. We will actually begin part of this tomorrow by sending a “grab and go” breakfast home with each student for Tuesday morning, March 17th. Starting Tuesday, March 17, Hutsonville CUSD #1 plans on delivering a “grab and go” style breakfast/lunch to each of our students using our normal bus routes. For our students who live in town we will create a few more stops to minimize the number of individuals waiting for the delivery. I understand this may not work for everyone, so we will also provide the option of curb side pickup. The pick up point will be in the back parking lot of our school. If neither of those options work please call the school as we hope to do our best to work with all of our families during this closure. We very much appreciate all those in our school community, local churches, and volunteers who have already expressed a willingness to help as we navigate this unprecedented situation. Sincerely, Julie L Kraemer, Superintendent Hutsonville CUSD #1
