Junior high boys’ basketball practice has been cancelled for today. There will be
practice as scheduled on Friday, along with a regional game on Saturday for the 8th
grade.

Palestine is hosting a basketball skills camp/league for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. Brochures will be coming home with more information.

Congratulations to the 7th grade JHBBKB for advancing to the Semi-finals regional game TONIGHT in Casey.

Snow Day

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Hutsonville School Administration was notified of a possible social media threat at the High School this morning. We immediately notified the Hutsonville Police Department and Crawford/Clark County Police Departments. Upon investigation, law enforcement spoke with the individual who posted the social media threat and they reported there is no imminent threat at this time. The student who made the threat is being dealt with through the disciplinary process of the school. We cannot go into more detail of this incident because of student privacy laws and the investigation is ongoing.
We greatly appreciate the quick notifications from our community members of the social media threat that allowed us to take the necessary safety precautions to keep our students safe, it was vital to the process. We also greatly appreciate the quick and professional response from all the Police Departments. Safety and security is our top priority and we will continue to take action to maintain safety of all students and staff in our care.
